Thank
you for your interest in Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.
We
provide an accredited, quality education for grades
kindergarten through the eighth grade with a maximum class
size of 30 students. All teachers hold valid teaching credentials, half have Master's degrees, and most have many years of classroom teaching experience. School hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. After school childcare is provided each school day from 3:00
p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Application packets can be obtained by contacting the school office. Need-based tuition assistance is available. The application process for new students begins with the following:
- The completed application form
- A copy of your child's birth
certificate
- A copy of your child's baptismal certificate
- Most current report card (grades 1 - 8)
- Standardized test results (grades 2 - 8)
- An academic reference form (grades 1 - 8)
- Payment of the nominal testing fee
Applications
should be completed and returned to the school office prior to the spring
testing period, usually the first week in March. Summer testing can be arranged when class space permits.
All
kindergarten applicants MUST be five years of age prior
to September 1st of the year they will be enrolled.
